Open Hearts…Bigger Beds?

In November 2021, Rose City presented Open Hearts…Bigger Beds? Monogamy, Polyamory, and Psychoanalysis. Our presenters dove deep into Polyamory and other forms of Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM). While such relationships are increasingly common, many clinicians still feel unprepared to effectively and affirmatively engage with this growing and underserved population. This thought-provoking program featured presentations by Alan Karbelnig, Ph.D., ABPP and Ryan Witherspoon, Ph.D. followed by a case presentation from Clinical Director Maggie Ateia and a lively panel discussion with experts of various stripes Cadyn Cathers, Psy.D., Enrico Gnaulati, Ph.D., and Maria “Two-Straps” Hintog. This event was hosted live on Zoom and fulfilled four (4) Continuing Education credits for licensed psychologists, marriage and family therapists (MFT), and licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) in the state of California.
